Spotted: Protective Life Employee Involvement Board

As we have mentioned before, it does not take a lot of effort to find acts of selflessness in your own world. All I did was have to walk to the break room at my office at Protective Life.

A few weeks back I saw a couple of people working on the community board where people would put up random things like coupons for haircuts or 15% off oil changes. Occasionally there would be a printout of someone raising money for a cause and I would stop and read what they had to say. I was excited to see that this board that used to have pizza coupons now was a space to put announcements about how to help out certain charities.

Today the board is filled with information on a food drive our office is holding for the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry, animal rescue information, as well as current status on the military family fundraising. It definitely makes me feel proud to work for a company that is active in philanthropy in more than endeavor. I hope they continue their efforts and continue to be a success! As the charities come off and on the board, I will be sure to post them here on our blog.
